CONFIDENCE FO STAND COMES WHEN YOU STAND ON THE FIRM FOUNDATION

Launching into something without getting our bearings or knowing where we are at usually doesn’t work well. When we start our day off well with our mind focussed on what is most important, all the other things fall into their right place and the day unfolds in a productive and peaceful way. 

With Jesus, he is our foundation and starting point for everything big or small, for our day to day and for our overall understanding of life. He is the same yesterday, today and forever as our Heavenly Father, Jesus our saviour and Holy Spirit our empowerer who is within. He is solid, he will never leave you, he is always trustworthy. 

Before every decision or movement or plan, take time to look down at the solid rock under your feet. Remember who he is and how he stands firm with you. Remember his grace. He doesn’t require a perfect role out of any plan. He goes with you as you step out. His grace goes with you. 

You are offered a firm foundation where you feel solid, that is where you can be confident to stand up. Stand up! Stand firm. The rock doesn’t fall away under your feet. The rock, God Almighty is solid under you.
