Grace exceeds your hopes

The grace God gives us is reflective of himself because it is from Him, it is His. So, it is immeasurable. It is abundant. It is pure. It is good. We were made to live in it. We were made to live surrounded and full of his grace. Grace is what the world and everyone in it needs.

When Moses went to God to beg his forgiveness for the terrible behaviour of his Israelite people, he hoped God would spare their lives. He knew who God was, knew his might and power and he understood the gravity of their actions; so he just hoped for enough reprieve to stay alive. 

God responded by saying, “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.” Exodus 34:10 


God is so gracious to us. We just need to come to him, acknowledging where we are, what we have, where we are in need and he responds in ways that are well beyond what we hope for. 


Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.


Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”


2 Timothy 2:1 You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
