God’s love is essential

We were made in a certain way where we have an essential need - to be loved by God. When we try to do our life without his love, we won’t be able to function as well as we were made to. Just like a car needs a certain type of fuel to run well, or even run at all, we needs love and we need God’s love to go well. 

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
