Come out of hiding. You can stand out.
You were made to stand out, don’t be in camouflage.
Deb Peacock
When I was with the Lord I saw a picture of a person in a guillie suit like camoflague and so they were covered in leaves. Each leaf represented thoughts and choices that had been made along the way. As things happened in life, the response was made each time and depending on the choice, a new leaf would come and cover the person.
And the Lord says that we were made to stand out, not be in camoflague. That is why our hearts can be aching to be seen, to be noticed - because we were made to be noticed. We were made to look as we do with our own appearance not exactly the same as others, made to be united but made to be us.
It is time to take off the camo gear that causes us to blend into the background, to be overlooked and not noticed. Its time to stop trying to fit in at the cost of being true to who we are. It is not time to blame others for our camo gear and be angry that others don’t notice us when we are in hiding. Its also not time to be angry with ourselves for not getting it right. It’s time to come to the Father, the one who sees straight through the masquerade and the camoflague, the one who never stopped seeing us and the one who with his grace, can remove all the leaves that hide us.
Come to the father, receive his grace and see that there is no shame in being you as he made you. Trade the leaves for the clothes of righteousness, compassion, justice and mercy, for by living in his grace you will know freedom. This freedom means you can stand out for the right reasons and be seen as who God says you are.
Blessings, Deb
