Focus is required for receiving of the provision. Focus on where your provision comes from. Focus. 

Otherwise the provision is lost on you. God is abundant and always giving out but when your focus is elsewhere you won’t realise the provision, won’t learn from it, won’t enjoy the fullness of it that joins our heart with Gods love and care for us. It won’t bring the relief of pressure and exhaustion it is meant to. 

You don’t turn on a water tap and go and look at other things. You first take the bucket and check it is sitting under the spout, and watch it fill. 

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

James 1:5-7
