You don’t have to fight to make it right. Follow the steps of the God of justice.

The God of justice is on the throne and he is coming.
All year throughout the pandemic God keeps showing me and reminding me that he is the King of Kings on the throne. No matter what life looks like he is the King of Kings and he is still on the throne. For us, this brings hope and it means we are to bow before him - coming to him realising his authority and power. In recent weeks this has been refined again because God is on the throne and he is the GOD OF JUSTICE.
“For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.” Deuteronomy 10:17
UNJUST SITUATIONS
There have been many things happening against people that are unjust, unfair and inconsiderate of the people. There seems to be no way to see justice prevail or to fight for justice and there are feelings of powerlessness. Then, some in their feelings of anger and powerlessness to injustice have become angry and envious of others creating tension and division.
When we know God as the God of justice and have reverence that he is on the throne we can come to him in humility. We look up to him seeing his just power. It is here in this position that we are armed with his armour of protection and armour of truth.
In the lead up to Christmas we remember that that saviour of the world, the hope of the world is coming. He is coming! He came to earth humbly and then in complete injustice he was killed. Jesus knows injustice but Jesus conquered injustice as he was killed and then he rose to life again and sat on the throne.
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he I had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”
Hebrews 1:3
Remember that when you work, you work for the Lord. You don’t work for that bonus or promotion, for you. You work for the just God who brings true purpose. Working for him means resources are also from him and for him. And, he is abundant.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,” Colossians 3:23
THERE IS A BETTER WAY THAN ANGST
In anticipation to the coming of Christ, our saviour, our just God we can put aside our angst about injustice and remember what life is all about. We live for him and he is a loving and just God. We can rest in his care and let him deal with the unfairness and injustice. We let him hold our hearts and protect them and then we can take action against these things under his direction. But we can release the angst to fight. We need to let go.
God is the God of justice and he cares for you. Come before him and remember his mighty power and his justice. Let him fight for you and follow his direction as he knows best what to do.
