It is not beyond you, it is for you
Deb Peacock
Today I heard the Lord speak, “It’s not beyond you, it is for you. Just because you don’t know how to get there doesn’t mean it’s beyond you. With God all things are possible.”
It is very easy to see something that looks big or looks far away and immediately dismiss it because we think it is beyond us. We might like the sound of it but we don’t know what to do or we don’t see how it could happen so we think it is beyond us. But if God is showing you this, he says it is for you. With God all things are possible and he has the power to make it happen. He requires our participation though. He loves the together journey with us. He loves the together journey to that thing more than he loves the thing. There is deep joy that comes in working together on something that both are passionate about.
What have you dismissed because you deemed it to be beyond you? If we want to see God at work, we might need to go beyond ourselves. It might be time to hold the tension of looking ahead to the big thing and enjoying the together journey with Jesus. With God all things are possible.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
