He makes sense of it all
Deb Peacock
He is inviting you to bring all your words, all your thoughts, all your beliefs to him. We’ve heard he is sifting and it is a season of sifting, he is sifting each of us to refine and realign.
In a time with so much noise and a rapid pace of change and information release, God is inviting you to come and tell him all your thoughts, concerns, beliefs, feelings and responses to things happening.
I saw a vision of Jesus sitting across from me and as I spoke to him all the words came out, each statement onto a separate sheet of paper and the pieces of paper fell into a container that Jesus held between us. As I kept talking and the words on papers kept depositing into the container, he was sifting through all the papers and declaring on them “truth” or “lie”. It was as though he was sifting me, all of my internal being to bring me back to truth, back to the rock of him, back to stability.
Instead of feeling anxious when he claimed a lie on something, I felt relief! What a relief that the awful thing wasn’t true. What a relief that the worry was based on something false. Then to see the truth, even the truth about some hard things and bad things that have happened - it is real, I did not make it up, I have not over reacted, I don’t have to second guess anymore. What relief I found inside me as Jesus sifted me.
Then at the end of it all, the only papers in the container were the ones stamped “true” and he handed the container of truth back to me.
When all around is shaking, come to the one who makes sense of it all and restores peace to your soul. Come to the one who is trustworthy and true. Let him sift you through, let him refine you and then you can stand solid once again.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Hebrews 4:12
