Laying it all down has been draining.

Lay down the final things for change and new is up ahead.

Deb Peacock

You’ve been laying it all down, surrendering things you have never had to lay down before and it seems as if there is nothing left. The process of the laying down has been a drain itself and has worn thin. You’ve wondered how long will this go on, how much more is there left to give.

But you are turning a corner and turning over a new leaf. Its seemed like draining, draining and more draining as you gave in to the Lord and surrendered some more. Instead of feeling like leading into new, it has felt like draining yourself out of everything you had. And now that it is done, the brand new is coming.

Just like after draining a battery many times over, it doesn’t recharge anymore and we buy a whole new battery. You have run the old season over many times and it is now done. The change in you, the preparation in you has brought change and in fact there is new of the Lord in you.

There will be a new that erupts, a quick changing of the tide, a sudden eruption of a new leaf, the turning over of a page in your life. He won’t leave you at that complete point of empty or barren for long, for that place signals the time of change to erupt.

Here it comes for you, here it comes. So lay it all down, lay down the final things. Agree to surrender those last things before the Lord and don’t fear the sense of losing it all and having nothing left. For you are close, so close to the end of that road and there is a change up ahead where you turn the corner and see a whole new landscape in front of you.
