You can only live for God if you live from God

Deb Peacock

When you are searching for your purpose, wondering what is my calling and feeling frustrated at not seeming to get anywhere, remember this: you can only live for God if you live from God.

He is our source of everything. Not only will he provide all that is required to go ahead and be a part of something significant and impacting but he is the source of our identity. He provides the power and wisdom required to go out into the world and make impact.

Everything we are to do in this world is to be done FROM a place of God’s love and his empowerment. It works best when it happens in his wisdom of the time and the how. We do it all from him.

So if you are feeling drained in what you are doing and wondering if you are on the right track, go back to the Lord. Spend time with him, be in his care. He will reaffirm you and remind you who you are. He will show you your gifts and how to use them. He will fill you up with what you need to go out and to go well.

If you are wondering who you are and what your purpose might be, go back to the Lord. Spend time with him letting him teach you who he is and then who you are. As you receive God’s love for you more and more, your passions of what you really love will be made known. You will connect with what brings you to life and what you really are passionate about. These passions are the desires of your heart and these are helpful to know your calling.

I have a passion for people to be set free in life and to be able to be close to Jesus by hearing his voice. This was able to become clear after spending lots of time with God experiencing his love for me, showing me who he was and helping me see who I was as well.

You can only live for God and be in that purpose that you ache for if you live from God.

Bless you
