Flat batteries don’t recharge by themselves.

God is the source of life, energy and reserves.

Deb Peacock

You’ve been wearing thin for a while, stretching continuously and wondering if it will ever relent. Will I make it through? Will I have enough? Will I last the distance til I can take a break?

And God says I am enough for you and I am with you and you will make it through. Draw on me. Come to me and drink from my well that never ever runs dry. I have what you need. I have what sustains. I will lift your head, recharge your drained reserves and set you back on your feet. Come to me.

The flat battery doesn’t recharge by itself. It needs to be plugged in. Yes it can be jump started in an instant to get you through that one thing but at some point you will need to come and plug in and plug in long enough to recharge. So in the moments where you are flat, get a jump start in me by calling on my name. I will be there in an instant. I will take you through.

Then plan for the recharge as soon as there is an opportunity. Come and rest and drink deeply. I am the well that never runs dry. I have more than you need. I am here waiting and willing, ready to restore you, fill up all your reserves. At this point you will feel the joy and elation of being full and overflowing once again, ready to face the world, ready to tackle what comes your way.

You are not endless, you are not never ending, you are limited but I am abundant and I am generous and willing for you. Come, come and drink at the well that never runs dry. I am your source of life and energy and reserves.
