Sometimes without even realising it we have outsourced our sense of security. Instead of enduring painful feelings of insecurity that cause you to want to hold back, to hide or to turn back from the right direction, let them point out the parts of your life that you aren’t entrusting to God. Admit these to him, and let his grace come. Not only did he make you to be eternally loved by him but he dealt with all the fails and wrongs that block you from feeling embraced and loved. He is the solution. He is the safe place. And you never have to leave.
