While everything is changing, the Lord never changes. He is steadfast for you.

There is a lot of movement happening at this time, some of it so rapid that you might feel you have lost your bearings or feel out of control. Another change happens before any time to process the previous change. But God is steadfast. He is solid. He is the rock and he is here with you. He has been reminding me daily of his steadfast nature and his steadfast love. Because Jesus is steadfast and he is here for us, we can hold to him as we live through much change, and our hearts can be steady. As soon as we feel shaken, we can run to the father who is steadfast in his love for us and let him hold us steady, settle us and strengthen us.

Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD. Psalm 112:6-7

May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ. 2 Thessalonians 3:5

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed. Malachi 3:6
