He says come

You’ve waited long enough, more waiting will be holding back. He says come.

When we are endeavouring on a new thing or new space we vision ourselves to be stepping out and going somewhere. And we are, but, right now God is saying COME AWAY WITH ME which changes everything. 

Suddenly instead of mustering up strength to go out into the unknown we can look ahead and see the truth: GOD IS THERE WHERE YOU ARE GOING. 

He is already there, he knows the lay of the land and what is there and his presence is already there. He is there WAITING FOR YOU. 

We often think we are waiting for the signal to go and why is God so slow. He is there in the future already and he is waiting for us. He is calling us “come.” 

The Lord is pointing out we are waiting on some things and some people to be ready and in place for us to go and we aren’t meant to wait. We are meant to keep our eyes on him and move in his timing. Sometimes this means waiting for more parts to come together. At this time it means let go of the things that hinder and run ahead. Run into the space he has created for you ahead. He is there waiting with arms wide to receive you there. 

What are you waiting for? Are these things part of God’s plan? Perhaps it’s time to stop looking all around you and to look ahead. Ahead you see his face, his eyes of kindness, his wisdom and his arms open wide to receive you. 

Others might disapprove as you move forward but the approval required is from the Lord. His eyes say it all - yes my child come. 

Don’t hold back for things that are actually peripheral issues, don’t hold back on obeying the Lord because of other people’s opinions. We are a friend of God when we obey the Lord. This is where joy for living is... in friendship with God. No holding back- IT IS TIME TO COME WITH THE LORD.
